Experience, expertise and quality workmanship

Straumkul was founded in 2014 by Andri Már, a master electrician, and Jón Smári, a marine engineer, both of whom still work for the company. Since its foundation, the company has grown steadily and today employs around 25 people with diverse experience and broad professional expertise.

Straumkul undertakes a wide range of projects across the capital region, including general electrical installation work, new installations, maintenance and fault diagnosis, as well as larger projects and specialised solutions. Our main clients are public bodies and businesses, while we also take on larger projects for individuals and housing associations.

The company emphasises quality workmanship, good service and clear communication with clients. Straumkul has a strong team of skilled professionals with extensive knowledge and experience, and all employees speak Icelandic.
